The National Instruments PXI-6713 (Part Number: 777795-01) Analog Output Module can utilize its inside 20 MHz time-base or a time-base received over the RTSI bus. Furthermore, if the user wants to design the gadget to utilize the inside time-base, they can program the gadget to drive its interior time-base over the RTSI bus to another gadget that is modified to get this time-base signal. This clock source, regardless of whether nearby or from the RTSI bus, is utilized straightforwardly by the gadget as the essential recurrence source. The default design at startup is to utilize the inner time-base without driving the RTSI bus time-base signal (this time-base is software selectable).
The device has 8 analog output channels with a resolution of 12 bits and a maximum update rate of 1 MS/s. It has an analog output voltage range of -10 V to 10 V. The analog output signals on the PXI-6713 are DAC0OUT, AOGND, and EXTREF. DAC0OUT is the voltage output signal for analog output channel 0 and EXTREF is the outside reference input for all analog output channels. The user can utilize this input to diminish the voltage swing on the DAC outputs while protecting the dynamic range.
