Technical Requirements:
In the traditional relay protection device, the input current and voltage signals are compared and processed directly between the analog quantity, so that the analog quantity is compared and processed with the given mechanical quantity (such as spring torque) or electric quantity (such as threshold voltage) in the device to determine whether the trip.
A computer system can only perform numerical or logical operations, so the working process of microcomputer protection is roughly as follows: When a fault occurs in the power system, the fault electricity quantity is converted into a digital quantity through the analog quantity input system, and then sent to the central processing unit of the computer. The fault information is calculated according to the corresponding protection algorithm and program, and the calculation results are compared with the given setting value at any time to determine whether the fault occurs. Once the fault is confirmed in the area, according to the status of the current circuit breaker and tripping relay input by the switching quantity, the tripping signal is sent through the switching quantity output system, and the fault information is displayed and printed.
