To conslruct a chart, plot the points as in theexample shown. Note that the chart providescontinuous and intermittent duty zones.
Systems can be operated continually attorque/speed combinations anywvhere in thecontinuous duty area,
assuming the ambienttemperature is less than 40C.
Operation in the intermittent duty zone must belimited to a duty cycle which will produce anRiS system torque
falling within the continuousduty area. The RMS torque value is defined bythe magnitude of the intermittent torque andthe percenlage of time spent at that torque.
