MVI46-MNET client/server module

The MVI46-MNET is equipped with one (1) configuration port in the form of an RJ45 port and supports RS232 without shaking hands. MVI46-MNET is compatible with a variety of industrial applications such as food processing, petrochemical, pulp and paper, automotive manufacturing, water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas, and power and electrical industrial applications. Description

MVI46-MNET is a MODBUS TCP client/server module. The module was manufactured by Allen-Bradley encompass collaborative company ProSoft Technology. This module is mainly used to enable MODBUS TCP I/P connections with SLC 5/02 M0/M1 or update processors. It supports both client and server functions, has configurable memory to support user customizable data mapping, the module can be used to communicate with any MODBUS TCP enabled device connected over the same network, It further supports integration with human-machine interface (HMI) systems, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and distributed control systems (DCS).
