The ILX69-PBM PROFIBUS DPV1 master module offers all the benefits of in-box PROFIBUS communication, such as inclusion of AOI and auto-scanning capabilities to greatly reduce commissioning time, and ComDTM for remote Ethernet connectivity and asset management software. With these modules, CompactLogix™ processors can easily communicate with slave devices that support the PROFIBUS DPV0 and DPV1 protocols. The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the processor, supporting a complete master specification according to IEC 61158.
