Amplification and filtering
The output of the pre-stage instrumentation amplifier is buffered into the secondary amplifier, which is the programmable gain amplifier PGA. The amplified signal is filtered and has relatively flat frequency response characteristics. The filter is an 8-order low-pass filter, whose cuoff frequency can be programmed to set from 10Hz to 100KHz. The lower limit cutoff frequency is set by a pull switch. The low pass filter and the band pass filter can be accessed or skipped by program control.
