Modicon 140CRP93100is an integral part of the Ethernet RIO architecture. It is part of the simple chrysanthemum ring, also known as the chrysanthemum chain ring road. The simple Daisy ring consists of a local Quantum Ethernet branch and a Quantum or Modicon X80 Ethernet RIO branch, containing a CRA branch adapter using 140CRP93100 as the RIO header adapter.
How do I use 140CRP93100
You must install and use the MA0185100 T-connector 10 because it is required for every I/O branch on your system. The T-connector is needed because it allows you to electrically isolate the branch from the mainline cable and protect the system from any possible impedance mismatch. In addition to impedance issues, it is a safety net against cable disconnection. A minimum signal strength of 14 dB is required between the trunk cable and each I/O lead-in.
When the signal on the trunk line passes through the T-connector, the loss is less than 1db. The head-on RIO CPU might have a total of 35 dB. The entire wiring system must not exceed this allowable architectural limit.

This way, when two cables are connected between the host and each branch, the first cable may break, but will not interrupt the communication.
