Modicon 140DDI35300 is part of Modicon’s quantum automation platform. It is a low-voltage DC discrete input module with 32 inputs. When the 140-DDI-353-00 module is in “On” mode, the voltage should be maintained between 5 and 30 Vdc with a minimum current of 2.0 mA. When off, the voltage reading should be between -3 and 5 Vdc and maintain a maximum current of 0.5 mA. It has a response time of 1 ms between on and off functions, and the 140DDI35300 features troublefree detection. It consumes 1.7 watts, plus 0.36 watts per input in use. The absolute maximum continuous input should be kept below 30 V DC. Its maximum input at 1.3 ms should be a 56 volt DC attenuation pulse. The 140DDI35300 uses a resistance-limited input protection with an internal resistance of 2.5k. The module does not require an external power supply. On its front panel, a total of 32 green leds indicate the status of each dot. The module is standard size and can be easily installed into any Modicon Quantum backplane.
