140DDI35300 Schneider Discrete input module

Modicon 140DDI35300 is part of Modicon’s quantum automation platform. It is a low-voltage DC discrete input module with 32 inputs. It has four sets of channels, each with eight inputs and one positive logic input. The module requires 330 mA of bus current and has 2 input word addressing requirements. It accepts 24 volt DC input and should be used with a shared input common wire connected to a positive potential and for source output devices. It doesn’t have an internal fuse, but users can use an external fuse at their discretion.

When the 140-DDI-353-00 module is in “On” mode, the voltage should be maintained between 5 and 30 Vdc with a minimum current of 2.0 mA. When off, the voltage reading should be between -3 and 5 Vdc and maintain a maximum current of 0.5 mA. It has a response time of 1 ms between on and off functions, and the 140DDI35300 features troublefree detection. It consumes 1.7 watts, plus 0.36 watts per input in use. The absolute maximum continuous input should be kept below 30 V DC. Its maximum input at 1.3 ms should be a 56 volt DC attenuation pulse. The 140DDI35300 uses a resistance-limited input protection with an internal resistance of 2.5k. The module does not require an external power supply. On its front panel, a total of 32 green leds indicate the status of each dot. The module is standard size and can be easily installed into any Modicon Quantum backplane.
