Woodward’s Model 8273-501 is designated as one of the 2301D Digital Load Sharing and Speed Control Units. The 8273-501 is one of the models designed for connection and installation into ordinary, non-hazardous locations. This Type 2301D design has a microprocessor as the basic component that enables the operation of the unit to perform its functions. The unit comes with standard hardware components, including a load cell, an actuator driver, and a microprocessor speed sensor. There is also a pair of configurable analog inputs and a configurable analog output. There is also a set of 8 discrete switch inputs (3 of which are configurable), and 4 configurable discrete relay driver outputs.
