WOODWARD PG-PL governor is widely used in various types of diesel engine, gas engine and steam turbine speed control, drive pump and compressor.

WOODWARD PGPL actuators are used on gas engines or steam turbines to replace PGPL, PGL and PGD governors without changing the original PG drive linkage mechanism. This provides convenience for the electrical transformation.

Designed to control steam valves, fuel valves, and/or corresponding servomechanisms, the WOODWARD current-Pressure Converter (CPC) converts a 4-20mA control signal linearly and proportionally into an oil-pressure output. CPCS can be paired with many electronic control devices such as WOODWARD MicroNet or 505 series controllers. It is suitable for pressure type servo system or single acting power cylinder. CPC is also suitable for retrofitting old machines.
