1336-WB110 Allen-Bradley 480V AC brake chopper module
Allen-Bradley’s 1336-WB110 Dynamic Brake Chopper module is a 480V AC brake chopper module with a 2.5 ohm brake resistor, Used to increase the braking torque of Allen-Bradley 1336, 1336VT, 1336PLUS, 1336PLUSII, 1336FORCE, or 1336IMPACT Frequency drives by 10-100%. The Brake chopper module features a 200A, 700V AC Ferazsholmut fuse with an SCR overvoltage protection circuit to provide inexpensive but effective overvoltage protection, and it also features an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) chopper transistor voltage control to effectively regulate the DC bus voltage during regeneration. The 1336-WB110 operates in a voltage range of 380-480V AC with an operating current of 110A and can be paralleled in a master-slave configuration with another Allen-Bradley brake chopper module in applications where the operating current exceeds the module’s rated current. The 1336-WB110 has a heavy duty rating of 460V AC drive voltage, 750V DC on input voltage from the DC bus power supply and a dynamic braking value of 2.5 ohms.
1336-WB110 with 12A, 30V DC, normally closed (N.C.) The contacts, with transistor-transistor loop compatibility, are configured to close when the terminal brake module is powered on and to disconnect at brake failure or power failure, with an initial contact resistance of 100m ohms. The 1336-WB110 operates in a temperature range of -10-40°C(14-104°F), is underated in a range of 5-95% non-condensing and non-corrosive humidity, and is stored in a temperature range of -40-70°C(-40-158°F). It has a maximum mounting height of 1000m, no derating, and a maximum power consumption of 190W at 100% duty cycle and is housed in an IP00(open) class housing. The 1336-WB110 weighs approximately 11.34 kg (25 lb) and has a total size of 290.6 mm x 239.8mm x 304.8mm (11.44 in x 9.44in x 12in in). It is a CE compliant UL and c-UL product.
