1747-CP3 Allen-Bradley programmer cable

This Alan Bradley 1747-CP3 is a programmer cable for SLC5/03 and 5/04 modular programmable controllers. The cable connects the 5/03 and 5/04 RS232 communication ports to the DTE device (computer). This Alan Bradley 1747-CP3 has internal jumpers on both ends. This 1747 CP3 also connects the PanelView family of component terminals to the SLC and MicroLogix controllers. It is also known as 9-pin D shell to 9-pin D shell null modem cable. The cable is about 3 meters (9.8 feet) long and has been tested by several organizations. The cable route complies with Commission Directive 89/336/EEC Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). The cable also follows some electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. This Allen Bradley 1747-CP3 has passed EN 50081-2 EMC-General Emission Standard Part 2- Industrial Environmental Standard, EN 50082-2 EMC-General Immunity Standard and Part 2- Industrial Environmental Standard. To avoid damaging ESD on your computer, always connect the USB cable to a properly designed DH-485 device or port before plugging it into the USB port on your computer.
This Allen Bradley 1747-CP3 was intended for use in industrial environments. It follows Council Directive 73/23/EEC Low Voltage, Part 2 – Equipment Requirements and testing. This kind of cable meets the set safety requirements. Refer to Industrial Automation Wiring and Installation Guide, 1770-N041. If you experience problems with this cable during the first 24 hours of installation, please do not forcibly unplug it as this may cause damage.
