Allen-Bradley 1756-L55M13 is A Series ControlLogix 55 controller. While this particular controller does not have non-volatile storage available, it does have a 1.5 Megabyte data and logic storage and 208 kilobytes of I/O storage available. The 1756-L55M13 controller also weighs 0.35g or 12.5oz. Because it is an open controller, there is no shell type level.
It is used with RSLogix 500O software as part of the ControlLogix system and is located in the Controllogix 1756 case. It is also capable of supporting the following communication options :DeviceNet,ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, Universal Remote I/O Serial, Data Highway Plus, Modbus via Ladder routines, SynchLink and DH-485.
The backplane current of 1756-L55M13 is 0.014A at 24V DC and 1.23A at 5.1V DC. It has a heat dissipation of 19.1 BTU/hr and a power consumption of 5.6W. It has a basic insulation type and a continuous isolation voltage of 30V, and has been tested to withstand 707vDC 60s. The 1756-455M13 controller has a conducted RF immunity of 10V rms, a 1 kHz sine wave of 80%AM, and a frequency range of 150 KHZ to 80 MHz.
The controller’s storage temperature is between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius, and its operating temperature is between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity without condensation is between 5% and 95%. It has a vibration of 2g at 10 to 50OHz, a working shock of 30 g, and a non-working shock of 50 g.
The controller’s battery can be replaced as needed and is compatible only with 1756-BA1 lithium batteries. It can only be connected with 1756-CP3 or 1747-CP3 programming cable. The 1756-155M13 controller can be used in redundant controller systems but it needs to be in the same ControlNet network.
