Technical Description 1756-L55M16：
Allen-Bradley 1756-155M16 is the ControlLogix controller, part of the Logix5000 family of controllers. It has 7.5MB of data and logical memory and 208 KB /O memory. It has a Logix and a backplane CPU to allocate resources. Application code and messages are executed by the Logix CPU, from which the backplane CPU sends and receives data and communicates with I/O.
The 1756-L55M16 controller connects to a workstation or other controller through a serial port. The 1756CP3 serial cable is used to connect the controller to the workstation. In order to communicate with other devices, it uses various networks, such as Ethernet IP, control network, device network, etc. 1756-155M16 can broadcast and receive system share tags over Ethernet /IP or control network. Both producers and consumers need a connection.
The 1756-55M16 controller has a multitasking feature that allows you to allocate processing time to different operations in your application. It also contains programs for grouping data and logic. It provides routines that encapsulate executable code in a programming language. It supports both online and offline Logix5000 programming language. If there is any I/O communication failure, it has a blinking green /OLED. The 1756-155M16 also contains a fault handler for diagnosis. It supports 1756-BA1 or 1756-BATM batteries that require regular maintenance.
