Technical Requirements 1794-TB3：
The 1794-TB3 is a Flex I/O component made by Allen-Bradley. This component, in particular, is a terminal base unit that is primarily used as an endpoint for field equipment and power supply equipment. This module is also used to host the Flex I/O module, Specifically, it includes 1794-IA8, 1794-IA8I, 1794-IA16, 1794-OA8, 1794-OA8I, 1794-OA16, 1794-IB8, 1794-IB16XT, 1794-IB10XOB6, 1794-IB10XOB6XT and 1794-IC 16, 1794-IG16, 17941794-TB3 has three (3) terminal boards. The top terminal board consists of sixteen (16) terminals for wiring the input and output signals. The middle and bottom terminals consist of eighteen (18) terminals designated for common and voltage terminals. The common end of -V is located at terminals B-16 and B-33. The +V(voltage input) terminals are located at the C-34 and C-5 terminals. To Daisy chain to nearby Flex I/O modules and terminal bases, Daisy chain terminals are located at C-34 (+) and B-16 (-) for power input, and C-51 (+) and B-33 (-) for power output. 1794-TB3 is equipped with screw clamp terminals. To install the terminal block, place the terminal block at a slight Angle. Hook the terminal block to the top of the DIN rail and connect the back of the terminal block to the DIN rail. The terminal block hook must slide below the edge of the adapter module and the FlexBus connector must be engaged. Slide the terminal block and push the adjacent adapter tightly. To lock the terminal block onto the DIN rail, push the terminal block until the 1794-TB3 is aligned and engaged with the DIN rail.
Allen-Bradley’s 1794-TB3 Flex I/O Terminal basic unit is a device that provides a terminal connection point for I/O wiring and contributes to the formation of a baseboard. It has up to 16 I/O connections, with 18 common terminals and 18 voltage terminals. The 1794-TB3 is used in applications with 125V AC /DC electrical ratings with a maximum current capacity of 10A, 0.21 x 1.3 mm2 (24-16 AWG) copper stranded wire for input and output modules. The 1794-TB3 has a Flexbus rating of 5V DC at 640mA and provides 2A current to the I/O terminals. It also has V/COM terminals and is rated at 125V DC/AC and 10A at 50-60Hz.
The 1794-TB3 provides 125V(continuous) voltage isolation between the field terminals and the FLEXBUS using a basic insulation type with a terminal screw torque of 0.56 x 0.79Nm(5 x 7 lb-in). It has a T4A(North America) specified temperature code and an IEC T4 temperature code. The 1794-TB3 is IEC rated to operate at -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. Minus 4-158 degrees Celsius. f) Rated for operating shock of 30G and vibration of 5G at 10-500Hz at non-condensing relative humidity of 5-95%, tested. The 1794-TB3 is C-UL-USA, UL, CSA, and CE certified in dimensions 94 mm x 94 mm x 69mm mm (3.7 in x 3.7in x 2.7in).
