Allen-Bradley 20BD8P0A3AYNAND0 PowerFlex 700 Adjustable Frequency AC driver is a digital PWM AC driver designed to provide superior control for three-phase AC induction motors with applications ranging from simple speed control to demanding torque control. It features very high precision motor control, uses pulse-width-modulated signals to provide precise and repetitive control, eliminating the need for any guesswork, and is programmed for voltage control per Hertz, providing excellent 0.5% open loop speed regulation through the use of slip compensation. The 20BD8P0A3AYNAND0 is rated for 480 volts AC with an acceptable input range of 432 volts AC to 528 volts AC with a nominal input current of 8.0 amps and a power output of 5.0 horsepower. It has an efficiency rating of 97.5%, a displacement power factor of 0.98, and a maximum short-circuit rating of 200,000 amps (symmetric) over the entire speed range (actual ratings depend on the recommended fuses and circuit breakers used).
