Embedded DeviceNet communication interfaces enable terminals to connect and communicate at the device level over DeviceNet links (125k, 250k, or 500k baud) using server explicit, client explicit, I/O, or just listening messages. Compatible devices include Allen-Bradley’s SLC, ControlLogix controllers, and other third-party controllers. The DeviceNet network supports state changes, loops, polling, and point-to-point messaging for more efficient communication. Devicenets-only functionality reduces the amount of network traffic and logic required to provide information to PanelView. The DeviceNet network has enhanced troubleshooting capabilities. The terminal communicates with a range of devices on the network. The PanelView Standard Operator interface is certified to comply with DeviceNet standards. This compatibility ensures compatibility with other compatible devices.

The 2711-B6C10 is powered by an external power supply in the range of 85-264 VAC. The maximum power consumption is 60VA. It comes with a combined input interface, the touch and keyboard interface. The keyboard assembly, mounted on the PanelView’s front panel, is made of stainless steel dome membrane and designed to handle up to 2 million actions. The keyboard assembly has ten (10) function keys from F1 to F10, directional arrows, number pad, and confirm button. In addition, the touchscreen interface consists of 128 units designed for up to 1 million presses.
