The 2711-T5A20L1 is a PanelView 550 Standard operator terminal featuring a 5.5-inch display screen, 128

Touch cells that provide the touch sensitive input area, One (1) Ethernet communication interface capable of 10/100

Mbps with auto-negotiation function, an RS232 interface allowing printing of alarms and events.

The 2711-T5A20L1 permits monitoring and control of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or industrial controller

based industrial machine or process. This HMI (Human Machine Interface) device integrates data from controllers

and display these to the monochrome display screen, providing a convenient means of monitoring the system. Control

actions are initiated via the touch operator interface which is made of 128 touch cells with each cell measuring 16 x 16

pixels.

Data is collected from controllers by establishing communication using the built-in Ethernet communication port,

using standard CAT5 communication cable not exceeding 100 meters. It longer communication distance needs to be

covered, the Ethernet network may be extended with the installation of an additional Ethernet switch and Ethernet to Fiber converter.
