It displays application status information graphically, allowing the operator to control and monitor other machines. The 2711P-T10C4A9 has a flexible configuration process with separate display and logic modules and optional communication modules. Users can enter information and data through the touch screen to control the operator interface. The 2711P-T10C4A9 features a 10.4-inch color display with a resistive touchscreen input option. The touchscreen resolution is 640 x 480 with 18-bit color graphics. It has 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of non-volatile memory for user storage. It weighs 8 pounds and measures 16 by 14 by 8 inches. If another Ethernet port is required, the 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for 700 to 1500 terminals. The module has its own unique IP address. This port has an RJ45 10/100ba se-T connector for network communication, which supports MDI/MDI-X connections.

This is a practical feature that allows the device to display various documents such as manuals, reports, recipes, charts and diagrams to aid the proper operation of the system. These features are added to basic features such as File Transfer Protocol (FTP)%3C VNC client and server connection, PDF file browser and Active X controls. The operator terminal can also be configured in an open or closed system configuration.
