128240-01 is a preloader/seismic monitor I/O module developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the 3500/42M Proximitor seismic monitoring system. The four-channel seismic monitor receives data from short range and seismic sensors. It processes the signal to generate vibration and position measurements, compares the processed signal to a user-programmable alarm, and adjusts the processed signal. Radial vibration, reinforcement, thrust position, acceleration, expansion difference, absolute axis, eccentricity, circular acceptance area and velocity can all be programmed into each channel using 3500 frame configuration software.

The primary function of the preloader/seismic monitor is to provide protection to the machine by providing alerts and important machine information to operations and maintenance personnel by continuously comparing the alarm Settings of monitoring parameters and configurations.
Depending on the configuration, each channel typically adjusts its input signal to produce various parameters called static values. You can set alarm and danger set points for each active static value, or for any two active static values.

Use the framework configuration software to set an alert level for any values measured by the monitor and a danger set point for any two values measured by the monitor. For each measurement, the alert can be set to 0-100% of the full scale. When the full scale range exceeds the sensor range, the sensor range limits the set value.
