330180-90-00 is a 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor developed by Bently Nevada. It is a part of the Bently Nevada 3300 series. All 5 and 8 mm 3300 and 3300 XL probes are compatible with the Bently 3300 XL 5/8mm Proximitor Sensor. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor improves on previous designs in numerous ways. Because of the physical packaging, it can be used in high-density DINrail installations. The sensor can also be mounted in a traditional panel mount configuration, sharing the same 4-hole mounting “footprint” as older Proximitor Sensor designs. Electrical isolation is provided by the mounting base for either option, eliminating the need for separate isolator plates.

System Power supply

• The 3300 Power Supply is available in both ac (3300/12) and dc (3300/14) versions for compatibility with voltage sources around the world, and it comes standard with line noise filters.
• It is located in the leftmost rack position and provides regulated power to all installed monitors and transducers. The transducer supply voltage for the entire rack can be programmed within the power supply to be compatible with both today’s -24V proximity transducer systems and older systems that use -18V power.

3300 Self Tests

• The 3300 System actually monitors itself with three levels of self-testing. Every monitor module includes power-up, cyclic, and user-initiated self-tests, ensuring proper operation and increasing operator confidence in the system.
• Errors are indicated by a rapidly flashing OK LED, and the error type is saved in non-volatile memory, where it can be recalled on the LCD to aid in troubleshooting.
• After the fault has been corrected, errors must be promptly cleared from the monitor’s memory. This prevents monitor errors from being overlooked by accident.
