3500/50-04-01-02 Tachometer module

The 3500/50M tachometer module is a 2-channel module that accepts input from the approach probe or magnetic picker to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction. The module compares these measurements with a user programmable alarm set value and generates an alarm when the set value is violated. The tachometer module uses 3500 rack programming configuration software. The following configuration options are available:
Speed monitoring, set alarm and speed belt alarm
Speed monitoring, set alarm and zero speed
Notify speed monitor, set value alarm and rotor acceleration of concern speed monitor, set value alarm and reverse rotation
The notification 3500/50m tachometer module can be configured to supply condition key phasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane for use via other monitors. Therefore, you do not need a separate Keyphasor module on the rack.
The 3500/50M tachometer module has a peak-hold function that stores maximum RPM, maximum astern speed, or the number of rotations achieved by the machine in reverse. You can reset the peak value.
