Agilent E1413A, E1413B, and E1413C are 64-channel high-speed scanning analog-to-digital converters with optional per-channel signal adjustment in single-width VXIbus modules. They scan up to 100,000 channels per second while automatically adjusting the range and converting readings into engineering units (EU). The read stream is routed to a 65,024 read FIFO buffer, while the latest read for each of the 64 channels can be quickly accessed from the current value table (CVTS). All readings are returned to FIFO and CVT in IEEE 754, 32-bit floating-point format via EU conversion or as input voltage. Channel selection is controlled by four scan lists, each containing up to 1,024 channel assignments. Another List named “List of Lists” can refer to each scanned list (1 to 4) up to 1,024 times. E1413 also provides an onboard calibration source to allow online, single-command, full-channel calibration. The module can also compensate for system connection offset. The E1413 accepts any combination of up to eight signal regulating plug-ins (SCPS). All of these functions can be accessed using SCPI and the compiled SCPI tool language.
