IC200CHS001 is a Barrier-Style I/O Carrier manufactured by GE Fanuc for its VersaMax series. It is comprised

of 36 barrier-style terminals and provides backplane communications and field wiring for one input-output module.

Highlighted features include a latch hole that securely fastens the module into the carrier and a hinged transparent door

that provides covering to the wiring terminal. A printed wiring card is tagged with each input-output module and can be folded

and inserted into the hinged door. Notches on the lower edge are specifically used to attach an auxiliary input-output terminal strip whenever extra bussed connection points are required.

The IC200CHS001 snaps easily onto a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. To take care of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), it is

important to ground the DIN rail. The rail must have a conductive corrosion resistant finish, preferably unpainted. The IC200CHS001

must also be panel-mounted in situations where the application requires maximum resistance to mechanical vibration.

The IC200CHS001 accommodates 8 Amps per each power and ground or up to 2 Amps current levels per point or and a voltage

range of up to 264 Volt AC. Power surge of up to 300 Volt AC is not likely to damage this carrier. Additional auxiliary input-output terminal

strips may be added to provide extra field wiring connections if needed. Auxiliary input-output terminal strips insert directly into the lower edge of the input-output carrier.
