Description

The IC693MDL730 is a positive logic output module that belongs to the 90-30 Series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) product line of General Electric Fanuc, now part of Emerson Automation. The module has eight (8) discrete output channels in a single bank, providing an output voltage range of 12-24 VDC with a ripple of +20%, -15%. Each channel provides an output current of 2 amps per point; 2 amps per fuse at 60°C; 4 amps per fuse at 50°C. The IC693MDL730 provides up to 1500 volts of isolation between the field side and the logic side. The output channels have a surge current rating of 9.4 amps for 10 ms; a maximum output voltage drop of 12 volts; a maximum off-state leakage current of 1 mA; and a typical switching response time of 2 ms per transition. The module occupies one slot in a 90-30 baseplate and is compatible with any I/O slot in a 90-30 series five (5) or ten (10) slot baseplate. When all outputs are powered, it draws 55 mA from the 5 VDC bus on the backplane. IC693MDL730 is compatible with various electrical loads, especially motor starters, solenoids and indicators. An external power supply must be connected to the module to provide operating power. Status LED indicators are mounted on the front panel of the module and include a blown fuse indicator, a module fault indicator, and eight (8) channel indicators, respectively assigned to each output channel, describing the operating status of each output point. The module comes with a removable terminal block to simplify maintenance.
