IONet/Industrial Ethernet Switch pack IS420ESWAH2A is labeled as an unmanaged, industrial Ethernet switch. This model was designed to meet specific requirements that are needed to keep up with real-time industrial solutions. Some of the features needed to meet the speed and functionality requirements are as follows; redundant power supply inputs and LEDs to indicate the status of Speed, Duplex and Activity, and Link Presence per port.
This version of the ESWA switch is one of five different switches. The main indicator of differences between these different switches is the number of fiber ports and even more specifically the type of port. The ports for this switch are 100Base-FX multi-mode fiber ports; be advised that all of the fiber ports will have an LC-type connection.
Multiple mounting orientations can be used when mounting this switch; depending on which mounting orientation is used there are also different clips needed. For example, if mounting the IS420ESWAH2A switch parallel to the rail on the long edge of the switch body the clip needed for mounting is the 259B2451BVP1. Please advise that this clip can be used with the ESWA and ESWB switches.
When the IS420ESWAH2A is being mounted there is no associated base accessory/assembly needed when mounting the switch, nor is there a replacement part within the module. After the ESWA switch has been mounted and configured as needed the RJ-45 connector on the device can support several removals and insertions, the connector should have an estimated lifespan of two hundred removal/insertion cycles.
