SR489-P5-HI-A20-E Generator management relay

The SR489-P5-HI-A20-E is a generator management relay manufactured by GE Multilin for the 489 series.

It has A 5 A phase CT secondary coil with a high control power supply of 90-300 volts DC and 70,265 volts AC

at a frequency of 48-62 Hz. Analog output is 4 to 20 mA. The relay has an enhanced display with a larger LCD

than the basic display. If a low voltage application requires an output relay contact, it is the customer’s responsibility to

ensure an appropriate level of insulation. The fuse current rating is 2.5A, the fuse type is 5x20mm HRC SLO-BLO Littelfuse, and the fuse type is 215-02.5.

In addition, the relay can be used in conjunction with optical fiber communication ports for fast and efficient communication

between protection devices. Fiber can be connected to a protection device that supports a wavelength of 820 nm in multi-mode,

and only 9G and 9H CPU types can use fiber. The 9H CPU dual redundancy is equipped with a 10BaseF transmitter and receiver for fiber optic communication.
