Ge Multiwire’s UR-6AV is a digital I/O module that provides digital input/output contacts for the UR family.

If the system needs to be expanded and/or their general purpose relay does not initially have digital I/O capabilities

(indicated by “XX” in the model), users should consider purchasing this model. In addition, the module can be used as

a replacement or upgrade for the user’s current module.

This module version contains type A and Type C outputs. Type A digital outputs are usually open-circuit contacts with a

constant start sub (NO) and a common terminal (C). Terminals are grounded and isolated from signals. The Form-C digital

output, on the other hand, is a switch or “transition” contact that contains a normal-start sub (NO), a common terminal (C), and

a normal-close terminal (NC). These terminals are also isolated from the signal, just like its type-A counterpart.
