Abaco Systems/VMIC VMIVME-2210 provides users with 64 single Type C (SPDT) contacts through two 96-pin DIN connectors. These relays are magnetically holding type, which means that once the contact is set, it will remain set (even if the relay is powered off) until it is reset. All three contacts are drawn through the connector. They are normally open (normally open), normally closed (normally closed), and common contacts. Normally open and public can be used to create A type A contact, while normally closed and public can be used as a type B contact. Normally open contacts are in row A of the connector, and common contacts are in row C of the connector, as shown in Figure 1. This arrangement allows 64 core cables for Type A switches. The VMIVME-2210 is equipped with a bipolar relay, but only one pole is provided to the user. The other pole is used by the built-in test (BIT) logic. The state of the control data register or N.C. pole is read during the read access of the board. The control register is located at the same address as the relay. This allows the user to monitor the status of user contacts and control registers. Because the reader and user poles are controlled by the same coil, the BIT can pass through the N.C of the second pole. Contacts Monitor the user’s contacts.
