As a strategic partner of Rockwell Automation, Yunnan Diqing Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Diqing Nonferrous”) has been committed to scientific exploration, rational development, and digital transformation development of Pulang Copper Mine. Recently, a delegation from Rockwell visited Diqing Nonferrous Metals for inspection and exchange, and attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the acceptance of the intelligent MCC operation and maintenance system project at Diqing Nonferrous Metals Concentrator.
In October 2021, Rockwell and Diqing Nonferrous signed a strategic cooperation agreement to collaborate in depth on the application of digital solutions in the mining field. This event marks the second anniversary of the strategic cooperation between the two sides. At the exchange meeting, both parties discussed the net zero digital base of the Pulang Copper Mine, and Rockwell summarized the intelligent operation and carbon management project based on this.
The Plung Copper Mine’s net zero digital base adopts the Rockii Master Industrial Intelligence Network architecture. Intelligent devices can comprehensively collect data, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, and manage the granularity of each intelligent power circuit, providing an overall energy efficiency management strategy, making equipment asset management clearer.
At the end of the meeting, Rockwell and Diqing Nonferrous Metals jointly held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the acceptance of the intelligent MCC operation and maintenance system project in the beneficiation plant.
Currently, China’s “dual carbon” goal is accelerating, and traditional mining industry is undergoing intelligent transformation and upgrading, accelerating its development towards green, safe, intelligent, and efficient directions. Rockwell Automation will continue to work with local ecological partners to promote the co creation of a “net zero supply chain” and help enterprises achieve intelligence and sustainable development.
